ACTIVITY CARRIED OUT BY THE FEDERICO II STUDY CENTER
Year 2021:
10 December 2021 delivery ceremony of the “Federico II International Award”, first edition at the Pinacoteca Hall of the Mandralisca Museum in Cefalù
Year 2022:
19/25 May, Cultural mission to New York at the Consulate General of Italy and at the Italian Institute of Culture and delivery of the Federico II International Award ed. 2022;
30 May, International conference dedicated to Frederick II entitled “Puer Apuliae, Stupor Mundi” organized in Rome at the Sala Zuccari of Palazzo Giustiniani of the Senate of the Republic;
19 June, international project “Musique Classique et Sacrèe dans les villes d’Europe” promoted in Bordeaux (France) and carried out at the Basilica of Eglise Notre Dame and delivery of the Federico II International Award;
15 September, music and culture project “The Symphonic Organ from Europe to USA” carried out in Bratislava at the Cathedral of San Martino and also presentation of the Federico II International Award;
7 October, project “Classical and sacred music in the cities of Europe” in Palermo at the Church of San Domenico;
8 October, delivery ceremony of the Federico II International Award in Cefalù at the Mandralisca Museum in Cefalù;
Year 2023:
28 January, institutional meeting held in Rome at Palazzo Falletti with representatives of cultural institutions in collaboration with the Sant’Anselmo Laboratory;
13 February, launched the cultural initiative called “Liber Augustalis” or days dedicated to illustrious constitutionalists;
28/31 March, institutional cultural mission carried out in the USA in New York by President Di Franco together with the US delegation of the study center with an official invitation received from the United Nations and meetings with representatives of Italian-American cultural, socio-cultural and scholastic institutions, visit to the United Nations, presentation of the “For Culture Worldwide” project and official meeting with Ambassador Maurizio Massari, permanent representative of Italy at the UN;
11 May, realization of the international conference “The Holy Land, meeting place” organized in in the Vatican at the Throne Room of Palazzo della Rovere, in collaboration with the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem and with the presence of illustrious speakers and delivery of the Federico seal to personalities;
13 June, delivery of the Federico II International Prize at the Ministry of Culture in Rome, to the publisher Arturo Tridico, Founder of the international newspaper “La Voce Canada & USA”. Also delivery of the Federician Seal to the Undersecretary of Culture, Hon. Prof. Vittorio Sgarbi and to the economist Prof. Pasquale Tridico.
20 October, award ceremony of the “Federico II International Award” – third edition held in Cefalù at the Sala delle Capriate with the presentation of the trophy to three Sicilian personalities and the presentation of two Federician seals.
